This May, Chef Matteo Arvonio presents his newly-designed Italian à-la-Carte dinner at the Café Studio, with glorious, traditional tastes from various Italian regions, refined for the modern palate. The menu includes all-time favorites and other regional delicacies, presented with Chef Matteo’s signature flair and creativity.
Chef Matteo grew up in Piedmont in northern Italy, an area surrounded by the beautiful Alps and bordering Switzerland and France. He has lived and worked in various Italian regions, learning and loving the culinary heritage of each, and working on adapting them for the modern palate. He has also lived in different parts of Europe and Asia, and worked for many gourmet restaurants worldwide over the past two decades. In 2013, his curiosity for the traditional culture and dynamic growth of modern China brought him and his extensive culinary experience to the Café Studio of Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.
The newly designed à-la-Carte dinner menu is inspired by Italy’s rich regional culinary heritage, to which Chef Matteo adds his originality. From the Tuscan-inspired seafood soup, to the famous Ossobuco from Milanand, the slow-cooked suckling pig and the John Dory with Mussel guazzetto from Sicilian tradition, Chef Matteo and his team are thrilled to introduce their exciting new menu.
Set to become the new must-visit destination for fans of great food in Shanghai, Café Studio is ready to enthrall, delight and tempt with its all-new Italian dining.
Starting May 6th, 2014, Chef Matteo’s menu is available for dinner, 5:30pm – 11:00pm
